ApnaGyan editorial process for reviewing source documents

ApnaGyan’s editorial goal is to help readers understand recruitment, exams and education-related information through clear explanations, useful checklists and transparent sourcing.

Source hierarchy

  1. The relevant department’s or commission’s official website and original notification PDF.
  2. Official notices, corrigenda, FAQs and helpdesk instructions issued by that authority.
  3. Other reliable public sources for additional context where needed.

Anonymous messages, social media posts or another blog alone are not sufficient evidence for an important claim.

What a useful article should include

Where applicable, articles should identify the notice or advertisement number, publication date, application period, eligibility summary, fee, selection stages, required documents, official portal and original notice. If a detail is not clear in an official source, it should be marked as uncertain rather than guessed.

Dates and reviews

Recruitment and result information can become outdated quickly. Articles should be reviewed when an important official update is found. A publication date does not automatically mean that an application is currently open; readers should confirm the latest status on the official portal.

Writing tools and originality

Digital tools may assist with research organization, language editing or formatting, but material facts, links, dates and figures should be checked. Adding length, repeating keywords or rephrasing another website without useful additional information is not a substitute for original editorial value.

Independence

ApnaGyan is not an official government entity. Our purpose is to explain public information, not to guarantee recruitment, endorse agents or promise selection. Any material commercial relationship should be disclosed where applicable.
