Incorrect dates, broken links or incomplete explanations can affect readers making time-sensitive decisions. ApnaGyan aims to review correction reports and make clear, appropriate changes rather than hide errors.
How to report a correction
Use the Contact Us page and include the article URL, a short description of the issue and a link to an official source when available. Do not send passwords, one-time passcodes or sensitive documents.
What we do
- Review the claim against the article and available primary source.
- Update the relevant wording, link or date when a factual error is found.
- Add a correction or update note where appropriate if the change meaningfully affects a reader’s understanding.
- If a claim cannot be confirmed, clarify its uncertainty or consider removing it.
Updates versus corrections
A new authority notice that changes a deadline may be an update. A fact that was wrong when first published may require a correction. Readers may report issues even where an article does not have a separate change log.
Review timing
Review time depends on the subject and the available evidence. We do not promise an immediate response. For an urgent application or examination question, contact the relevant official helpdesk directly.
